I like beans very much, bought 100gms of beans from MK retail for 22INR, soaked the beans for 24hrs, baked it for 30 minutes @900' in microwave, it doesn't get baked, still so solid to eat.
What to do now?

On the way to Pollachi to Coimbatore you cant miss these gulmuhar trees. They attract you attention as you pass through this highway NH209. The greenery between these points would make your journey pleasant, except those barricades placed near police stations on the way. Most part of this NH209 would be sleeping under dark deep shadows of trees!

I've subscribed to reliance 1GB data plan @ 650/Month. The USB modem costs 2850 and I got it for free by paying the advance rental for 12 months (9085RS was the total cost). This is a limited offer for the first 50000 subscribers. So what would happen after 50K subscribers? Again there will be an much better offer! In fact I was about to subscribe to a connection by paying 4K for the modem in which 2 month rental wavier was offered. Then I thought its not by plan yet. Last Monday I've received an SMS stating this offer. I've visited the local "web world express" in Pollachi, which is a franchise of reliance mobile. With my Bangalore "web world" experience I thought I would not get any fruit full information. To my surprise, those guys were very much customer oriented. I got the device and activation on the same day!
The guy who was attending me was promising me that he will get the device and will get it activated on the same day and he lived up to his promise! I was there in their outlet till 8:00PM and he couldn't do it because the server was slow. He said you please carry on and after activation only I will go home! I got a call from him by 10:30PM and said its been activated!
What is the advantage of data plan compared to hourly plan?
No matter how many hours you were online, what counts is how much data you used to communicate! You can be online for hours together, without worrying about hours getting exhausted. Especially when there is slow connection data plan will be the best to choose compared to the hourly plan.
TATA Indicom also has a similar plans, just before this Reliance offer they were the best!

Note: In the evenings between 6pm to 9pm the connection is dead slow! Sometimes not even connect!
The device cost getting reduced is the sign of getting phased out soon. I think soon there will be PC Express cards replacing the PC cards and so on.

I've booked a ticket from Bangalore to Coimbatore in KSRTC for 15th June 6:30PM bus, on 11th June online in KRSTC.in. By 3:30PM on 15th Friday I've left the office and picked my baggage from home and walked to the nearest bus stand and got in a bus which was going to Shivaji Nagar. Since I had booked the ticket in KSRTC I can travel in any BMTC bus to reach Kempegowda Bus Station I don't have to buy a ticket, conductor verified the ticket and every thing was OK. I got down in Ulsoor to catch another bus which will take me to KGBS. After few minutes trouble I got in to 315L which goes to KGBS. Here also the conductor verified my ticket and I didn't have to buy a ticket. Reached KGBS at 5:00PM since I was 1hr 30 mins earlier, I started looking around whats happening... there were Arrow shirts, FM radios, some of the international designer brand watches and sun glass for RS75 and so on... I was wondering how cheap the branded items are here....
The bus came around 6:00PM to platform no 7. And I got inside the bus and sat in my seat number 22 (window seat). Then came our hero, with a ticket for same 22W seat... He was bit rude and said that this is my seat. He as having a orange color ticket which he would have bought it in any ksrtc booking counter and claimed that my online ticket is fake! Then came one guy to verify my ticket and tell me that the ticket has been actually booked for 11th June 6:30PM bus........ GRRRRRRRRRRRRR NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... was bit nervous for few minutes wondering what to do now... mean time our hero was ready to pick up an argument with me... and I just ignored him. Then came the conductor, I asked him does he has any extra ticket. He took RS300 and gave me a ticket for window seat 6 and also said don't ask me change! That's fine with me if he would have said no tickets are there probably I would have to cancel my entire trip! Seat no 6 should be far better than seat 22. A good thing in my stupidity. How this could have happened? I just have no idea, I used to the super conscious around my friends.. mistakes do happen... probably I would keep doing this mistake often, since it doesn't hurt me to do so!
After the bus started moving I was wondering how did I miss to check the date of journey? And having this out of date ticket I have travelled in two BMTC bus also! And those conductors "verified" the ticket! Probably if they would have found it on the way, I would have returned back home thinking there will be no ticket for me! Good that they didn't notice the date!! How so many people could miss that "date of journey" aspect?
Until the bus reached Mysore the seat no 6 would not have made any different, the was moving like sliding on butter! Superb road! From Mysore to Coimbatore until the road touches Tamilnadu border, road is in pathetic condition. And why do they put so many road bumps? you just cant sleep! Adding to the poor roads, from Mysore two mallu chatter box sat behind my seat and kept chatting until 12:00AM. At times at high volume... The bus started climbing a hill for few minutes and then started climbing down around 1:15AM. The view from the hills was spectacular... the land side light was glittering. This is the first time I'm travelling in this route to Coimbatore! And the trip was OK, I should say good, especially when I've made a stupid mistake.

1013 is the train number of which runs between Kurla and Coimbatore. Its been called with different names, Kurla Express/Bangalore Express/Lokamania Thilak Express. As per the schedule of the train it should leave Bangalore by 9:20 and reach Coimbatore by early Morning 6:00 AM. Recently I had to travelled to Combatore on this train for two consecutive weeks. This is the train in which you would never want to travel! Since it comes from a Kurla, Maharastra, by the time the train reaches Bangalore, its "yuk". It needs a complete acid cleaning! Never mind there will be no water in the train! It always runs by 3 to 4 hours delay, may be its time for Indian Railways to change the timing as it regularly runs.
On the holy day, I rush from Mahadevpura by 7:30PM to catch this train in a auto. That auto guy demands me 150RS, fearing missing the train, I agree to pay. And I reach the station by 8:45, only to listen that the train will reach the station only by 11:30PM instead of 9:20PM. Grrrrrrr, ok lets wait. The train comes by 11:30 and I board the train only to see some one else have occupied by reserved seat. I wake him up and ask him vacate, he looks at me as if I'm his lifetime rivalry! And he checks my ticket as if he is the tt.... well finally he vacated the seat. Peacefully laid there and slept. Suddenly I woke up around 1:ooAM, and looked around to that the train is standing just few KMs away from the station. Grrrrrrr, and slept again. And the tt wakes me up around 2:00AM to check my ticket....
In this 1013 train you will always get tickets for Bangalore to Coimbatore. Don't get carried away you will not make your trip on time! Try "Kanyakumari express"....

How handy it would be if you receive SMS ads based on your need and that too only on the time you have set. Wondering how much this service it will cost? No in fact you will earn money for receiving such SMS ads. But never mind the objective is you get the ad about what is your current requirement let it may be fashion, movies, real estate or any of your requirement and that too not exactly when you are in a important customer meeting! Rather at the time specified by you!

Last Friday I got to travel with this KPN since I had no other choice other than traveling with them to Palani. Well, I started hating them from the start at their boarding station at Bommannahalli in Bangalore:
- When there are at least 200 people gather, they don't have restroom facility... I asked the manager there where is the bathroom, go to top! Top is nothing but an open terrace... (well, I had no other option other than doing it there...)
- Bus reached Dindigul outskirts around 6:00 AM to drop some of the parcels those are loaded. Mean time the driver noticed that one of the rear tire got puncher. The cleaner started to replace the tire. It's about a kilometer to Dindigul town, from where the bus is standing. There were so many passengers in the bus to go to Dindigul. The driver never informed that its going to taken an hour to any one. Mean time one guy went and asked how much time its going to take, then the driver said its going to taken an hour those who are to Dindigul please find your own way to go there!! Well its well after an hour he figured out there is a puncture...
- Got down the bus and found there were many parcels stranded on the road. And I saw one bag filled with black stuff is torn and the stuff inside is spilled out on the road... I pity the guy who would have sent it. Then I saw another automobile assembly, which is again dismantled and spilled all around...
Never send anything by KPN Parcel service, prefer TCIL, ABT or TVS parcels services! Try to avoid traveling in "KPN travels" prefer ABT travels.

This bus route was part of my life for almost 10 years. When we shifted to the Sugar Mill quarterss, our only mode of direct communication to the near by village Madathukulam was this bus. Otherwise we had to walk for around 2KMS to reach the near by high way 209 and wait for the other local bus. This route is made only because of the "sugar mill", since there is no way that employees, carts and trucs can commute to the mill. If the timing of the bus is around 7:30 AM it would be just fine to start waking around 7:45 AM to catch this bus at 8:00 AM! Timing of this bus is just at the mercey of the driver! You cant catch up with this bus!!

I don't want to put the nice bad words that I would give for the KPN. Sometimes I feel, is this travels is operated by some goons (they way the driver and cleaner behaves)? I frequently travel to PALANI. If one has to reach anywhere in between Coimbatore to Dindigul via Pollachi, Udumalpet, Palani and Oodanchatram, well they are all left out with only one choice KPN!! No direct train, no other direct service government service or private service.
Points that I would note:
Exactly in between 2 to 3 am the bus stops at Salem petrol pump to fuel the bus, at the same time some guys jump to the top of the bus to load and unload parcels. Sometimes I feel this service is for public or for parcel? Then on my sleep is lost, after that every 45 minutes or so the bus stops at several stations, and same loading and unloading routine happens.
Then goes and parks the bus in the side lane of Dindigul bus stand, which is the urinal lane. Even I'm sleeping, suddenly feel the catastrophic bad smell and jump out of the bus until it moves!
They lack the minimum common sense in operating a service. They have to understand that a parcel service cant be run from a 10X10 size rooms. Keeping all the parcels on the road blocking whole traffic. And the pity is how some ones valuable parcel is left on the road until its loaded in the bus.
They have no value for their customer, for their life (at the mercy of driver, several times watched the driver standing up and driving while overtaking when there are speeding vehicles opposite side) and for the customers properties!
These days I'm avoiding KPN as much as possible, by going by train.
